How we got here:
-
Under Labor, Mildura has seen a continual decline in our local healthcare standards.
-
After a mismanaged return to public hands we now have a broken health system.
How you can help:
Your stories and experiences of our broken health system can help us get the new hospital and healthcare that we deserve.
Real stories:
Mildura Base Public Hospital's CEO, Board Members and management need to effect immediate change in their recruitment process of professional staff. In referencing your Strategic Plan you are not 'providing exceptional' care and 'staff leading the continuous improvement of service delivery and provision of care'.
-Aidan Le Noble
My mother didn't even get the chance to receive treatment before it was too late. This was due to a lack of ability to do the biopsy in Mildura and then further by the current backlog of patients.
-Casey Mcguire
I wrote to the Hospital CEO seeking an opportunity to meet with him to discuss what I considered to be the substandard medical treatment I received. I received no response to my email so I again wrote to him voicing my disappointment at not receiving a reply and again requesting a meeting.
